Kyle E. Ritter, aged 68, died on October 15, 2026, in La Crosse, WI. His passing was sudden and heartbreaking, and he will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

Born on October 9,1958 in La Crosse, WI, Kyle grew up on the north side of La Crosse and developed a love for life’s simple pleasures. He had a colorful disposition; never afraid to speak his mind, share a laugh, or brighten a room with his personality.

Kyle had a profound and unwavering love for his children, grandchildren, and family; a love that shaped his life and brought him his greatest pride. He also found joy in the simple things that made life rich. Whether he was casting a line fishing with his kids or grandchildren, jamming out to some Pink Floyd or Elton John, he found meaning in every moment living by North Side Rules!

He was a proud alumnus of Logan High School. This set the future for work at American Millwork, Western Distributing, and MTU of La Crosse. Kyle met many lifelong friends at these places and was known for his steady work ethic. He left a lasting mark on each organization and the friends he worked with.

While Kyle faced challenges from MS, his life was filled with moments of love, connection, and success. His departure reminds us of the importance of resilience and strength.

He is survived by his children John (Jami) Ritter, Jamie Webb, Kyle H. Ritter, Jack (Mary) Litsheim, Lindsey (Nick) Schams, 12 grandchildren, Robin (Sammye) Ritter, Wanda (Greg) Ritter-Blocker, Julie, and Ron Naysmith. He is preceded in death by his parents James (Neva) Ritter and Helen Naysmith. Along with his brothers Jimmy Ritter, Kevin Ritter, and Bruce Ritter.

A memorial service will be held on November 21, 2026, at Sam’s Bar at 1pm. Friends and family are welcome to attend and celebrate Kyle’s life.  Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting his family.
