Linda Ruth Needles, 73, of Onalaska, WI, and Las Cruces, NM, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 27, 2015 in her home. She was born September 8, 1942 to Gould and Naomi Camp. Linda married David Needles on December 4, 1960 in Atlantic, IA.

After raising two children, she pursued her Master’s Degree in Media Specialist. She retired from Central High School in 1999. Her and David traveled in their RV after retirement, falling in love with the South West region, settling in New Mexico for 10 years. She loved to dance, travel, golf, and mostly spend time with her family.

She is survived by her husband; children, Deanna (Rich) Davis, Todd (Sandy) Needles; 4 grandchildren, Allan Lundgren, Ethan Needles, Katelynn Needles, Jakob Davis; great-granddaughter, Annabella Lundgren; sister, Bobbi (Chuck) Zimmerman; brother, Don (Kay) Camp; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Dylan Lundgren.

The family would like to thank the Gundersen Health System Hospice , especially the ENT Department, and the many friends and family for their love and support. Linda touched the lives of everybody she met.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2015 at 4:00 pm at the North Presbyterian Church, La Crosse. Pastor Scott Skogen will officiate. A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until the service at the church.
