Lloyd Odell Bjergum, 86, of La Crosse, passed away on February 29, 2016 in his home.  He was born on April 8, 1929 to Ole and Jeanette Bjergum (Buxengard).  He married Katherine Wright.

Lloyd served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1948 until 1952.  He retired from Fowler and Hammer after many years of service.  Lloyd was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed going to the casinos.

Lloyd is survived by his stepson, Jim Wright; daughters in law, Barbara Wright, Gladys Wright; sister in law, Beverly Bjergum; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine; brothers, Grant Bjergum, Erlin Bjergum; sister Barbara Bjergum; and stepson Ronald Wright.

In accordance with Lloyd’s wishes, no services will be held.
