Erin Renee Johnson, 34, of Trempealeau, passed away peacefully after a courageous, 2 year battle with cancer, on July 25, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She was born June 1, 1982 to Barry and Kathy (Knutson) Johnson.

Erin loved to spend time with her family, especially her sons. She enjoyed singing, dancing, taking naps and her favorite color, pink.

Erin is survived by her sons, Axle, Owen, Liam and their father Michael Smith and his children; mother, Kathy (Dave Gabrielson) Johnson; father, Barry (Debbie) Johnson; siblings, Jennifer (Mike) Bonam, Adam (Emily Foote) Johnson, Rachel (Cody) Olsen, Ashley Johnson, Dylan Johnson, Ashley Gabrielson; she will also be missed by MANY nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Delores and Marion Knutson, Morey and Wanda Johnson; and uncles, Scotty Knutson, Terry Johnson.

The family would like to thank the Gundersen Health System care providers, friends and family for all of their support.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 29, 2016 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 20237 W Ridge Ave, Galesville. Pastor Michael Hibbs will officiate service. Visitations will be held on Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and also one hour prior to the service on Friday, both at the church. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
