Alvin Robert Stanislowski Sr.
Alvin Robert Stanislowski Sr, 79, of Trempealeau, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2016 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. He was born on May 28, 1937 to Sylvester and Agnes Stanislowski. He married Betty Jean Streich on January 8, 1966 at St Bartholomew Catholic Church in Trempealeau.
Alvin worked for 53 years at the L .B. White Company and was involved in recycling for 41 years.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Alvin R (Courtney) Stanislowski Jr, Diane Stanislowski; Dafney (Jason) Tepp; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Cassie) Thompson, Andrew Stanislowski, Allen Stanislowski, Ella Tepp, Avery Tepp; great grandchildren, Bentley Thompson, Brody Thompson, Alexandria Stanislowski; brothers, Edward Stanislowski, David Stanislowski; sister, Marie Stellpflug; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; sisters, Esther, Betty; and brother, Richard.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, Tri State Ambulance Service, the Trempealeau First Responders, and all the friends and family for their love and support.
A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Thursday, Decemeber 29 at the Trempealeau Community Center.
Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
