Debrah Joy Liles
Debrah Joy Liles age 65 of La Crosse passed away peacefully on January 20, 2017 at Hillview Nursing home in La Crosse. She was born on June 1, 1951 to Myrtle Wang and Sylvester Schlicht.
Her interests include taking care of everyone especially her children and the neighborhood children. Family holidays, picnics,birthdays,weddings,and births were her most favorite things. She was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. She also had a soft spot for classic and fast cars. She loved fishing,camping and if you couldn’t find her in her flower gardens you could find her reading a good book. Most of all she loved being with her family and friends.
She is survived by: Dear friend/partner Rick Janicke of La Crosse, Brothers Dean Schlicht of La Farge and Dennis Schlicht of Ferryville. Children Amanda Nelson of La Farge, Luke Liles (Lynette Grekoff) of La Farge and Lacey Post (Jesse Post) of La Farge. Two Grandsons Karston Grekoff and Chase Liles. Life long friends Bonita Anderson (Tom Anderson) of Onalaska and Karen Schlicht of Viroqua. Many neices, nephews and cousins. Also many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her Mother Myrtle Wang of West Salem and Father Sylvester Schlicht of Stoddard. Her Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles.
A special thank you to Pastor Mark Phillips of the La Farge Free Methodist Church, the loving staff of Gunderson Hospital of La Crosse and Hillview Nursing Home and the caring staff of Hospice of La Crosse.
Services will be held on January 28, 2017 at the La Farge Free Methodist Church 214 S. Cherry St. La Farge, WI 54639 with Pastor Mark Phillips officiating. The visitation will be at 10:00A.M. until 12:00P.M. The funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. with a luncheon to follow the service. Burial will be at a later date.

I was fortunate to meet and know Deb through Rick,as Ive been a hairstylist and friend of Ricks for Atleast 15 years? Deb was such a sweetheart,always a great sense of humor and a kind word. This only proves God, does take the best.
