Teri Lee Hansen, 52, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center from pneumonia.

Teri was born March 30, 1958 in La Crosse to Richard and Marjorie (Kassera) Hansen. She graduated from Logan High School. She got her nursing degree from WWTC. She began her nursing career at St. Mary’s in Rochester and then moved to Cody, Wyoming where she worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse.

Teri had an incredible love of the outdoors and creatures big and small, especially her dogs and cat.

She is survived by her parents, Richard and Marjorie Hansen; sister, Kathryn (Karl) Tiedeman; brother, Thomas (Kristi) Hansen; nephew, Alex Hansen; nieces, Kassera Hansen and Jessica Tiedeman.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1931 Loomis St., La Crosse. Rev. Lisa Shank will officiate with interment at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethel Lutheran Church or the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
