Kathleen M (Dewan) Butzler, age 73, Born August 3,1944, died on Saturday, October 21, 2017 with her family in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa (Rowan) Flottmeier, her son, Robert Laumb, three grand children, Robert McInnis, Nichole Flottmeier, Shannon Flottmeier and three great grand children, Nathan, Evelynn and Elayna.

She is preceded in death by her mother Florence (Teske) Wallace, her father Arthur Dewan and her brother Robert Teske.

Kathie was a very proud member of the VFW Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Eagles Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose where she served as Senior Regent for two terms and enjoyed insurmountable volunteer hours.

In Kathie’s early years she played as a picture in the Women’s American Softball League.  Years later she and her daughter Theresa played on a softball team together for a few years.  In 1976 she moved to La Crosse, WI where she owned and ran MrB’s Auto Shine.  Kathie also started one of the first largest Muscular Dystrophy fund raising events in La Crosse, WI and continued for many years.

Kathleen was a wonderful mother, grand mother, great grand mother and friend.  She loved her family and friends with her whole heart.  She contributed to the community volunteering for the multiple organizations she was a member of.  She is truly loved and missed.
