Harvey married Dorothy June (Rogers) Schroth on August 6, 1957 in Wabasha, MN. Together they had five children. Harvey lived in the La Crosse area for the majority of his lifetime, however, he also resided briefly in the South Dakota towns of Hecla, New Underwood, and Rapid City in order to be near his children.

Harvey is survived by his children, Debra M. (Ellis) Parry of Forsyth, MT; Donna R. Tisher of Walla Walla, WA; Thomas E. (Sally) Heberlein of Rapid City, SD; Rose M. (Al) Dosch of Frederick, SD; and Jerry C. Heberlein of Cheyenne, WY; six grandchildren, Kari, Chris, Adam, Thomas, Holly, Nolan; four great-grandchildren, KC, Peyton, Aurora, Kaylie; one brother, Jack Heberlein of La Crosse, WI; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Florence Regner, Lucille Geary; and one brother, Eugene D. Heberlein.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at 2:00 PM at St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral’s Marian Chapel, 530 Main St., La Crosse. The Rev. Michael Gorman will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the mass at the church. Coulee Region Cremation Group of La Crosse is assisting the family with arrangements.
