Tillman Columbus Whaley II

Tillman Columbus Whaley II, 78, of Viola and formerly of St. Louis, MO., went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 30, 2018. Tillman was born July 17, 1939, the oldest of two sons to Amanda (Pipkins) Whaley and Tillman C Whaley Sr. in St. Louis, MO.  He attended schools in St. Louis until being drafted into the US Army in August of 1962.  Tillman served his country in the US Army before being honorably discharged in July of 1964. He was then employed by General Motors in Wentzville, MO until his retirement in 2002. Tillman married the “love of his life”, Fanny Bermudo, on December 29, 2002 in St. Louis; and soon after their marriage moved to their farm in Viola, WI. where they resided until Fanny’s retirement.  In the years that followed, they traveled and spent time with family at their home in the Philippines. Tillman was preceded in death by his mother, his father, and his brother Timothy.  He is survived by his wife, Fanny Bermudo Whaley, children Joann Templado (Dante), Robert Bermudo (Laura), Jobert Bermudo (Ashley), children of his heart Tony, Darell and Lionel; grandchildren Ashley, Danley, Jadeley Templado, as well as other nieces, nephews, many friends, and his Filipino family whom he loved dearly. Memorial Service in recognition of Tillman’s life will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2018, 7:00 pm, in the Prairie Room at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, WI. Friends and family may call from 5:00-7:00 pm.  Tillman will be interred in Toledo in the Philippine Islands at a future date. Blessed be the memory of Tillman Columbus Whaley.

    I am so sorry for your loss of Tillman. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him. He was truly one of a kind! God bless you all in your time of sadness.
