Donna Marie Scott, 53, of La Crosse, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at home.

She was born on Feb. 25, 1958 to Sam R. Mitchell and Hulda B. Hudson. She married Charles Scott in Chicago.

 

Donna sold Amway, served in the Church and was saved and baptized at Apostolic Life in Onalaska.

 

She is survived by her children, DeAndre (Eloise) S. Hudson of La Crosse, WI, LaKisha (Elmer Sr.) McCloud of Caledonia, MN, Charles Z. Hudson of Minneapolis, MN, Rafael Q. Hudson of La Crosse, WI, Cornelius Dunnigun Jr. of Caledonia, MN; grandchildren, Andrell, Lonnie, Aric Jr., LaKyia, Aysya, Elmer Jr., Tangerinka, Lavon, DeAndre Jr., Donna, TarDrenaya, Cassandra; siblings, Sandra Rhodes of San Antonio, TX, Jeanette (Johnny) Laws of Charlotte, NC, Vincent (Luvine) Hudson of La Crosse, WI, William (Joyceann) Mitchell of Tunica, MS, Robin (David) Jordan of Chicago, IL, Lillie Mae Fisher of Houston, TX; a special god-daugther, Antoinette McMorris; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

 

Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Scott, mother, Hulda B. Hudson, father, Samuel Mitchell, sisters, Gloria Madison and Mable Ruth Harris.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. At Empowered Life Worship Center, 1022 Caledonia St., La Crosse. The Rev. David Smith will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
