Susan Marie Larson, 66, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 in Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta.

 

She was born October 6, 1945 to Earl and Ruth Riek.

 

Susan enjoyed baking, flowers, working with ceramics, and volunteering for Olivet Lutheran Church.

 

She is survived by her daugther, Andrea; 3 grandsons, Reece, Christopher, John; brother, Dan (Kendra); sister-in-law, Karen (Don); dear friends, Joyce, Cindy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son, Wayne; parents; sister, Marge; brother, Robert.

 

The family would like to thank the care providers on the 2^nd floor of Morrow Memorial Home and hospice of Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center.

 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Olivet Lutheran Church, 2100 Bainbridge St., La Crosse. The Rev. David Baldukas will officiate. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery at a later date.
