Phyllis Mae Beck, 82, of Sparta, died Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Morrow Memorial Home, Sparta.

She was born March 10, 1930 in Milwaukee to Andrew and Anita (Grams) Arndt and lived with her husband of 62 years, Bruce, in the Milwaukee area before moving to Sparta in 1990.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce; a daughter, Dawn (Gordy) Seamans of Sparta; a son, Jerry (Anna Maria) Beck of Wadsworth, IL; 5 grandchildren, Scott (Lisa) Seamans of Waukesha, Brent (Anna) Seamans of Prairie Du Chien, Kurt (Amy) Seamans of Wasilla, AK, Tiffany Beck (fiancee Ryan Hall) of Aurora, IL, and Amy Beck of Chicago, IL.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center, La Crosse and the Morrow Memorial Home, Sparta for their dedicated care.
