Terry Robert Priebe

Terry Robert Priebe, 70, of Holmen, passed away surrounded by his family on October 31, 2012 in his home. He was born December 12, 1941 to Robert and Sarah (Vieth) Priebe in La Crosse.

Terry worked for the Brewery for over 20 years retiring in 1998. He enjoyed pitching for Glen’s Bar in the mid 60’s and won 4 straight titles. 

Terry is survived by his children, Terry (Amy) Priebe, Sara (Ross) Hyatt, Shellie (Bob) Spors, Wendy (Jim) VonRuden, Lisa Erickson, Linda (Scott) Manley; grandchildren, Rachel, Christopher, Jason, Kayla, John, Nikki, Chelsea, Stephanie, Shayna, Nathan, Lella, Raven, Randy, Ryan, Ashley; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert, Dennis; sister, Carol “Toots”; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Terry is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary (Wiegel) and his parents.

The family would like to thank the Mayo Health System Hospice care providers and a special thank you to Dr. Dennis Ohlrogge.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. Online codolences may be left at www.couleecremation.com.

    What a man your Dad was. Some of my fondest memories are set around that kitchen table with a baseball game on. Coffee and conversation as the world whirled by. They don’t make men like your Dad and Ken Riddle anymore and thats a sad thought.

    I can only echo what Steve said. So many laughs and good times around that kitchen table. Terry was a great guy, always helping everyone. I remember him showing up for my sons wedding and immediately being put in service to finish a half completed bathroom remodeling. Never a complaint.
    Sure have good memories too of the Black River Casino. Bingo, then late into the night playing the slots and the ride home dodging deer. It has never been as much fun since.
    I’m sure right now, he’s sitting up in heaven drinking a Sundrop.
