Albert Charles “Shorty” Brohmer
Albert Charles “Shorty” Brohmer, 82, of Holmen, passed away Nov. 15, 2025.
Born May 22,1943, he was a son of the late, Albert and Louise Blake Brohmer.
He married Jeanne Hafner October 9, 1976, at St Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse, WI. He loved hunting, fishing, four wheeling, dancing, music and woodworking.
Survivors include the love of his life, Jeannie, his son Todd, his daughter, Brooke (Greg) Walker, his granddaughter, Rya, his sisters, Judy and Debbie, and his brother, Jeff.
He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert, his sister, Bonnie, and a son, Scott.
Visitation will be 10-11:00 am Thursday, November 20, 2025, at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, in Holmen.
A funeral mass at will follow at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cooley Region Humane Society.

To Jeff and family. Please accept my sincere condolences on your brother’s passing. I remember meeting him at his business years ago. May the many good memories of him help comfort all of you.

Not only is Shorty my brother-in-law but also a great friend. Bonnie and I enjoyed his company for years. After Bonnie’s passing Shorty and I grew closer in friendship. My sincere condolences to Shorty’s family. He will be surely missed. He was a great person.
