Barbara Ann Thiel passed away December 10, 2023. She was born July 1, 1953 in Fort Hood, Texas to Howard and Rose Marie (Seemann) Thiel.

She was employed by Trane for 37 years retiring in 2013.

Barbara is survived by her brothers, Jeffrey (Ann) Thiel, Laguna Niguel, California, and John (Betty) Thiel, Onalaska; and Aunt B to nephew, David (Candice) Thiel, La Crosse, nieces, Meg (Timothy) Ford, Mission Viejo, California, Sara Thiel, Laguna Niguel, California and Kari (Bennett) Chrisinger, Onalaska. She was also a beloved great aunt to “the Littles” Hailee Elizabeth, Clara Helen and Sophia Rose Thiel, Elizabeth Rosemarie and Adam Howard Ford, Leah Lynn and Alli May Chrisinger. and special friends Jayne Seaquist and Cheryl Nesbit.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

As per Barbara’s request there will be no memorial service.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Hillview Healthcare who were more like family for the past 5 years, Rachel Keehner, PA and Gundersen Hospice for the care, compassion and friendship provided to Barb.
