Benjamin Mathias Hatlevig
Benjamin Mathias Hatlevig passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 23, 2025.
Ben was born to Kjell Hatlevig and Cynthia Hutman in La Crosse, WI, on August 19, 1999.
In 26 years of life, Ben found the meaning of what it truly means to live. His faith and hope in God was his anchor through the mountains and the valleys of his life.
Ben greatly appreciated his mission trips to the Dominican Republic and to Panama. He talked animatedly of the ways that he was going to be a missionary in the life ahead of him.
One of his greatest treasures in his life was his marriage to his wife, Eve. With God at the center, together they stood and faced Ben’s health crisis. Through these months of his illness, Ben lived richer and deeper than ever. He always remained strong and kind.
Ben is survived by his wife Eve Hatlevig, father Kjell (Caroline) Hatlevig, mother Cindi (Keith) Hutman, sister Shelby Hatlevig, twin brother Arnold Hatlevig, Grandpa and Grandma Jerry and Nancy Hatlevig and Grandpa and Grandma David and Sandi Moser, along with aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a Celebration of Life service held on Friday, December 12th, 2025, at 1 PM, at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St, in Onalaska, WI. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
Our sincere condolences Cindi for you and your family. The Lord has something special in mind for him, may God give you comfort and strength.
