Bernard J. Knoble, 86, passed away peacefully at home in Gays Mills, surrounded by family on September 14, 2020 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Bernard is survived by his son Chuck Nicks and his beloved grandchildren, Charmaine Nicks, Theron Nicks and extended family and friends. Visiting with family & friends was the most important thing to Bernard. He is known for doing his share of talking, storytelling, and having cookouts for those he loved. He will always be remembered for his strength, generosity, hard work, jokes, stories, and being a caring grandfather. There is not a person he met that did not hear a great story or two.. or three. He will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A private celebration of life will be held summer 2021 due to covid.
