Betty Jo Craig, 84, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Hillview Health Care Center in La Crosse.

She was born on April 1, 1928 to Ethell and John Dickinson. She married Joseph Endres on February 9, 1948 in Mitchell, SD.

 

Betty is survived by 5 children, Kay (Jim) Endres-Reavis, Paula (Jim) Mauf, Carla (Chuck) Callies, Bob (Robin) Endres, Mia (Jim) Szamlewski; 10 grandchildren, Jennifer, Angie, Joe, Josh, Andrea (Lu), Tim, Brook, Randy, Kelly, Megan; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Ralph Dickinson, Kenny Dickinson; and other relatives and friends.

 

She is preceded in death by 2 daughters, Cathy, Brenda; husbands, Joseph Endres, John Craig; parents; 8 brothers and sisters.

 

The family would like to thank the staff at Hillview Health Care Center for the loving and excellent care given to Betty.

 

In accordance with her wishes, her body will be cremated. Arrangements will be announced at a later date for services in Madison, SD where she will be laid to rest by her daughter Brenda and husband Joseph Endres.
