Bonnie J. Taylor
Bonnie J. Taylor, 75, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday December 10, 2022 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 3, 1947 in La Crosse, WI to Melvin and Ruby Sobkowiak. She married Gary Taylor in 1963.
Bonnie worked many years at Moen Photo. Her passion was photography. She was a very special lady who loved her family and holidays. Her great-grandson Christopher was the light of her life.
She is survived by her husband Gary Taylor, a son, Scott Taylor, a daughter, Lori Taylor. Grandson Chad Taylor (Lisa Taylor) and great-grandson Christopher Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Sobkowiak, her mother, Ruby Sobkowiak and her brother, Dennis Sobkowiak. Visitation will be on Friday December 16 at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason Street, Onalaska, from 10am- 12pm. A memorial service will be held at 12pm. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred so we can donate to Bonnie’s favorite charity. Bonnie’s family would like to thank the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice nurses for their kind and compassionate care.

Thank you so much. Mother loved her job and loved taking pictures. The business was truly an art back in the day and required so much skill. As you surely know.
I inherited her passion and took up Astrophotography. I am just happy that I have digital negatives and don’t feel the pressure of messing up the customers only copy. I can’t imagine the pressure you all felt back then.
We were very surprised to see your comment and happy that my Mother was truly appreciated in what she did..
