Carissa Kay Nelson
Carissa Kay Nelson, 37, of La Crosse, passed away unexpectedly June 18, 2023 at her home. She was born on October 26, 1985 to Elizabeth (Diane) Nelson of La Crosse.
Carissa loved spending time with friends and family, and playing cards and bingo.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Katherine Nelson, cousins James Nichols, Aubrey Johnson, aunts Kathleen Bach and Carolyn Nelson.
Carissa was survived by her daughter Carina Kay Nelson, mother Elizabeth Diane Nelson, sister Brianna Stigen (Estevan Meza), aunts Wendy Roma, Karen Nelson, Georgia Hill, Mary Nelson, Irene Shears, Rose Sorenson and Marjorie Larson. Uncles Daniel (Lorrie) and Ronald Nelson, niece and nephew Avyanna and Lorenzo Meza, special cousins Miranda Howard, Mary Wruck, Godmother Misty Delaney-Randall and many other cousins and many close friends that she had in her lifetime.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Jesi Greening and Kelly Brocker for helping with Carina during this time.
The family asks in lieu of flowers donations be made to Go fund me or @breezybri28 Venmo. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.

So sorry for your loss. Carissa was a great person. I have many fun memories when we were in our younger years as we shared many of the same friends and acquaintances.
