Carol Sue (Mustain) Reichert, 84, of West Salem, WI, passed away on February 10, 2025, after a brief illness.

She was born February 26, 1940, in Monett, MO, a daughter of Vencil Mustain and Minnie (Graul) Mustain. She was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brother Robert Mustain, sister Alice Vantuyl, and brother Milton Mustain.

On August 21, 1962, she married the love of her life, George Vincent Reichert, Jr., in Sedalia, MO. They had two children, Greg (Danielle) and Jeff. They also had four grandchildren, Jordan (Greg Collins) of Adrian, MO, Vincent of Kansas City, Alec of Kansas City, and Natalee of West Salem, WI. Both her husband George and her son Jeff preceded her in death. She is survived by her son, Greg, and all four grandchildren.

Carol was extremely proud and loved her grandchildren. She was a lover of animals, especially dogs and cats, and her favorite charities supported their care and safety. She loved her life on their acreage outside of Liberty, MO, and was known for taking in a stray or two over the years. Through the subtle influence of her kids, she learned to root for the Chiefs, Royals and MU Tigers. Once an avid reader, she also loved crossword puzzles, game shows and all things purple.

Arrangements are being made through Coulee Region Cremation Group and Park Lawn Funeral Home in Kansas City. Inurnment will take place this spring in Liberty, MO.
