Chris Joseph Brown, 54, of La Crosse, passed away suddenly on September 5, 2011 in his home.

He was born on July 8, 1957 to Charles and Mary “Delores” (Moore) Brown.

 

Chris enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities, gardening and spending time with friends.

 

Chris is survived by his son, Clay Brown; parents, Charles and Mary “Delores” Brown; brothers and sisters, Chuck (Connie) Brown, Dana (Dan) Malin, Curt Brown, Craig Brown, Darcy (Brook) Baumann, Danette (Steve) Melsness; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends.

 

He is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and one uncle.

 

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, September 9, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1031 Main St., Onalaska, WI . Interment will be at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in La Crosse. The Rev. Steve Kachel will celebrate and Rev. Del Malin will concelebrate. A visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of the mass at the church. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
