Clyde Layfette Ward
Clyde Layfette Ward, 49, of Edgewood, IA, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2015 at the Crossing Rivers Hospital in Prairie du Chien. He was born December 25, 1965 to Claude and Sarah Ward.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking on the grill, watching tv, taking naps, and talking to friends and family. He had an infectious smile, he loved to laugh and joking as well as making others laugh around him. He loved and cared for his kids.
He is survived by his father, Claude Ward of Gosnell, AR; brother, Buddy Ward of Greenville, MS; sons, Clarence and Joseph Ward of Bosnell, AR; and daughter, Dallas Thomasson of Greenville, MS.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Clarence Ward; grandmother, Jennifer Ward of Steele, Missouri; one brother; and his mother, Sarah Ward .
The family would like to thank the staff of Crossing Rivers Health Care Center, Coulee Region Cremation Group and all of his friends at Commercial Vehicle Group of Edgewood Iowa and Monona Iowa.
No services will be held.
we will surely miss Clyde, he has been in our lives for a long time.he was a great person and he will be truly missed.I wish he didn’t have to leave us ,because we loved him so much.
