Dale Wyeth Nelson
Dale Wyeth Nelson, 79, of Onalaska, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 13, 2018 in his home. He was born on June 23, 1939 to Nels and Florence Nelson. He married Sandra Miller on January 7, 1961 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in La Crosse, WI.
The Eagle has landed, Dale Nelson, patriarch of the Nelson family and the most loving, understanding, level headed and all around solid family man to have graced the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Dale was employed with EcoLab and started at the bottom in sales and worked his way up to Vice President of the Gulf Coast Region. His impact on this world will be cherished and felt for countless generations to come. Rest in peace Papa.
Dale is survived by his wife, Sandra; children, Tim, Sherri, Anissa; grandchildren, Scott, Amanda, Kristin, Jon, and Joseph; great grandchildren, Logan and Kayleigh; and brother, Verdon (Sandy). He was preceded in death by his parents, Nels and Florence; and his brother, Norman.
The family wishes to extend a thank you to Gundersen Hospice, his doctors in palliative care, and his special nurse friend, Karen. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at American Legion Post 52, 711 6th St S, La Crosse, from 11 am to 4 pm.

I also was an Ecolab employee. I first met Dale when I was transferred to Cincinnati to run the Distribution center in 1971. I had lots of interactions with Dale who was an excellent sales person. I congratulated him when he got promoted and left the Cincinnati area.
He was well liked and respected at Ecolab by all who knew and worked with him.
He will be sorely missed why his family and friends.
