Dana Marie Geske
Dana Marie Geske, 27, of West Salem, WI, passed away after a long struggle with Cardio Pulmonary Hypertension on November 10, 2016 at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. She arrived to her joyful mom and dad, David and Mary Geske in June of 1989.
When Dana was growing up she played soccer and enjoyed dance. She was a proud member of the West Salem Pom Squad. She loved playing hockey, animals, and being an Equestrian with her beloved horses Razi and Rocky. She attended West Salem High School and graduated in 2007 from G-E-T. She obtained her CNA certification and worked at Marinuka Manor Nursing Home in Galesville and La Crosse Technologies.
Dana had a deep passion for life. She is and always will be loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Dana is survived by her children, Christine Fuchs and her father, Adam, Coltyn Literski, Cayden Literski; Dana’s partner, Michael Literski and his family; parents, David and Mary Geske; sister, Emily and her son, Carter; grandmother, Annie Geske; uncles, aunts, and cousins, Earl (Mary) Geske, Karen Schams and her daughters, Carrie (Corey) Carter and their son, Leo Carter, Lisa Schams and her son, Remi Schams, Rick (Lisa) Geske and their children, Lindsey, Karl, Alissa, and Elise Geske, Dawn (Gary) Bender and their children, LeAnna, Allison, and Neil Bender, Tom McDonald and his son, Scott McDonald, Leo Schams; and many loved cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter Geske, Hector and Catherine McDonald; and beloved aunt Harriet Shervey.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 359 N. Leonard St., West Salem. Pastor Jon Schmidt will officiate. Visitations will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Coulee Region Cremation Group and Funeral Home, 133 Mason St., Onalaska, and also one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be held at Decorah Prairie Cemetery.
Dana, we will always love you.

Bill and I are deeply saddened by the passing of Dana. We always thought so much of her and the sweetness she offered so many. She loved her little ones so much and all of her family. You are strong people and have raised your girls well. Gods blessings to each of you and we are planning to attend the service on Tuesday.

My heart aches for your loss. Dana was an amazing young women who I came to know when she was on the West Salem Dance Team. Her talent with dance was evident as she shined on the team. She was a joy to coach and I will miss her. My prayer is that you will find comfort in remembering her contagious smile and love she gave to all she knew. God Bless You all.

No words can explain how deeply saddened we are by what has happened. Dana was one of a kind. No matter what the situation was, she always had a smile on her face. She will be forever missed ?

Chuck and I were saddened to hear of Dana’s passing. I can so vividly remember her smiling face when she was a little girl and came to visit her dad at the Health Dept.
