Middle Ridge –

David ‘Dave’ Raymond Antony of Bangor passed away due to complications with his terminal lung cancer at Mulder’s Nursing home on February 23, 2022 at the age of 73.  He was born in LaCross August 2, 1948 to Raymond and Clara Antony.  Dave lived in Middle Ridge all of his life.  Graduating from Bangor High School in 1966.  On August 6th 1966, he married Sharon Hemker at St. Joseph’s the Workman Cathedral in LaCrosse.  They celebrated over 51 years of marriage together.  Dave will be remembered as a very hard working husband, father, grandfather and brother.  He worked many years in the masonry and bricklaying industry.  Dave was very athletic in his young age and continued that enjoyment into his adult years by enjoying many outdoor activities to include all types of hunting and fishing as well as watching all Wisconsin state and local sport teams.  In particular, he enjoyed trout  and bluegill fishing and morel mushroom hunting.

Dave is survived by his eldest son Terrence (Jana) Antony of Palmetto FL, Troy Antony of Middle Ridge WI, his grandson Torren Antony of Wisconsin Dells WI.  He is also survived by his sisters Darlene Hanson of West Salem WI, Dixie (Marv) Niedfeldt of Racine WI, his sister-in-laws Ann (Dwight) Rhodes of Onalaska WI, Kathy (Jerry) Sackmaster of Herbster WI and Patricia Antony of LaCrosse WI, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his parents, his brother Donald and his sister Diane.

A Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Thursday, March 3, 2022 at St. Peter’s Catholic Parish, Middle Ridge. Father Biju Chennala Kunjukutty will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the Mass time.  Coulee Region Cremation Group of Onalaska is in charge of arrangements.
