from complications of dementia. He was born September 20, 1951 to Rudy and
Irene (Kadletz) Pralle in LaCrosse, WI. Dave attended schools in LaCrosse;
Immanuel Lutheran, Mt. Calvary Lutheran and graduated from Luther High

married Judy (Dorn) Hansen. The two enjoyed day trips, traveling to Mexico each
year and in 2019 toured Italy.
Dave’s strong faith sustained him to be a kind, caring and loving husband and
father. He had a quick wit and enjoyed conversation.
He was a dedicated fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and was ready to evaluate
players and game play whenever possible with his son Ben. He enjoyed working
with his yard and had a green thumb when it came to plants and flowers. He liked
feeding the birds and watching for them to come back in the spring. Dave looked
forward to fishing in Canada with his friends every spring and fall and later sharing
the stories from it.
Dave took over Rudy’s Market in LaCrosse where he had worked with his Dad
since he was young and there developed a strong work ethic. In 1985 he sold the
store and worked 31 years for Reinhart Foods and retired from there in 2016.
Dave is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter Carrie (Tim) Jensen and a son Ben
Pralle. His is further survived by his brother Roger (Kay) Pralle, and sisters Joyce
(Don) Krause; Karen Meyer; and Bonnie (Neil) Cloutier. As well as nieces and
nephews.

hours prior at St. Paul’s Lutheran, 1201 Main St. in Onalaska, WI. Private burial
will be at a later date. Memorials may be given to the St. Paul’s building fund.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of going to the Catbird games with David, Ben and Carrie.
Judy, I’m so very sorry to hear you lost your husband..I hope he was suffering too long with this terrible illness, sending my prayers and hugs, and may he rest in peace now. Sincerely Sheri Schell.
Our deepest sympathies in your loss. Always hard to lose a loved family member. ?
I am so sorry to learn this, Judy. You have had too much grief for one lifetime. I look forward to our class reunion on Saturday, but obviously, you will not be there. May you find comfort in the knowledge that your husband is no longer suffering, and that others are thinking of you at this sad time
Dave will forever be my friend and lived in same apartment building as I for several years. He had a huge heart – always had huge heart and loved the birds and cooking and baking! RIP Dave til I see you again. ✝️
My condolences to the entire family. There has been a family connection that goes back to Lorena Hyatt whose husband, Ferris, was a Great Uncle to my wife, Mary. I remember hearing stories of family get togethers in the early years, especially at the cabin on the river. Cherish all the good memories. I believe that Heavenly mansion Jesus told us about has a special reunion room for all our loved ones. RIP David.
We are so sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. Mark was Dave’s chum since childhood and holds those memories dear. We hope your family memories help ease your grief.
My condolences to Dave’s family. I am so sorry for your loss. Dave was a classmate of mine at Luther High. He was a kind soul with a positive energy.

Kay and Roger I am sorry to hear of Dave’s passing.
We both worked at Reinhart and had some lively conversations about the Cardinals and the Dodgers!
I have great memories with Dave. I lived two houses away from him on George Street. We spent a lot of time together. I remember the time we found a bat on the boulevard on Wood Street. Dave poked it with a stick. It immediately flew up and landed on his shirt . Boy did he take off fast for home. I was glad it didn’t land on me. He was a great friend.
