Dean Nicholas Heintz

Dean Nicholas Heintz passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.  He fought a tough and painful battle.  He grew up in Holmen, WI most of his childhood.  He eventually moved to  LaCrosse after his first bout with cancer.  He proudly went to prom with his girlfriend Courtney.  He celebrated his 18th birthday with family and friends.  He graduated from Logan High School, class of 2016, where he made strong friendships as well.  He experienced and loved having his own apartment on the northside and the freedom to ride his bicycle.  He, as all of us were very proud of those accomplishments.  He adored his brother Angelo!  He took care of him, looked after him and loved him dearly.
Dean is survived by his mother, Angela (Barney) Heintz.  His brother, Angelo Heintz.  His father, Danny Heintz.  His girlfriend, Courtney Wuensch (and her family).  Maternal grandmother, Terri Duve (Mitch).  Paternal grandmother, Bonnie Sands.  Great Grandmother Janice Duve (Mum).  Great grandparents, Keith and Gloria Barney.  Uncles:  Ben Barney (Debra), Charles Barney (Ashley), Maxton Langreck, Michael Sands.  Aunts:  Emriana Langreck (Dylan), Debbie Heintz (Lance), Michelle Heintz (Tom), Dawn Sands (Rob).  Many beloved Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.  He will be forever remembered and forever loved.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Craig Barney.  Maternal great grandfather, Al Duve.  His fraternal Aunt Nicole Sands.A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St., Onalaska with visitation from 3:00 pm until the time of service.
