So sorry for your loss I met Diane about a year ago at Bingo at Onalaska Legion she made the evening a lot of fun and always came to our table and teased us. She will be missed by all.
My deepest sympathy and prayers for all of you. I have not seen her in years but worked at Gundersen and was privileged to care for as a nurse . She was a beautiful person .
She was always the first to arrive at a show choir competition and the last to leave and always so complimentary and loving about what I and the kids did. I will miss seeing her face at these competitions and will thing Of her as we progress through the season. She was an amazing woman.
My deepest sympathy to Diane’s family. I only knew her for a few years when I played cards at the Onalaska Legion. She was delightful. Had the cards running like a top! If someone didn’t show she organized and played 2 spots! I was sad to hear of her passing.
Our world has lost a beautiful soul. Diane & I were OHS classmates. She was the most humble, positive, loving, warm hearted person you could meet. If there was a need, she was working on a way to fulfill it. Her community, family and friends will forever feel the loss of her extraordinary giving heart. My life has been blessed by her loving friendship. Be at peace my lovely friend. Your life’s mission has been accomplished. I ❤ you!
Oh Diane! You are one of a kind! You felt your life path was to be of service to others & you gave 110% to family, friends, the Auxillary, the Legion, your church, your community. God will hold you in the palm of His hands for all time. You will be missed, my friend!
With one working arm, your Mother welcomed those she met with an embrace wider and warmer than most people can manage with two. It was no mistake our nickname for her was “Mama Medicare”.
Although not much older than me, she sometimes called me “Kid”. The last thing she ever said to me was “Take care of yourself Kid”, as we parted to go to our respective hotel rooms (‘nuf said about Halloween 2019). My favorite memory of your Mother is our visit to Notre Dame. Diane standing next to me in the cathedral saying “Look at that Kid. Just look at that!” as we gazed up at the windows and vaulted ceiling.
Words, written or spoken, won’t do much to ease the grief of losing your Mother. Time and memories, however, will bring peace; and more time will eventually bring joy in remembering your Mom.
The stars seem a bit dimmer except for one. God bless ?
Diane was always s joy to see at the Onalaska Legion. She treated everyone like family and always went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly. She accepted everyone no matter who they were. She leaves very big shoes to fill. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

My sincere sympathies in the loss of your dear Mom. I was so saddened by the news, she was such a kind and caring person and certainly an asset to the Onalaska Legion community with her contributions of time and talent. She will be greatly missed.
Diane was the nicest person ever. The Arcadia Bingo players all loved her. I never ever seen her get mad at anyone, and the one thing I never seen was Diane ‘sitting down’, no, she was always on the go. The Onalaska Legion is going to miss her a lot. With one working hand, she could go through the bingo cards like crazy, she was right on the ball, even giving out the money to winners seemed to make her happy. She was a princess and will be sadly missed by tons of people. Love you Diane, rest in peace my friend.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family. Diane was such a wonderful happy person. She always was willing to help with anything. She was such a Great help at the chicken and dumplings. She will be missed.
