Diane Knutson, 64, of La Crosse, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.

She was born on May 2, 1947 to Ralph and June Student. She married David Knutson on April 2, 1981 in Galesville, WI.

 

Diane enjoyed playing cards, watching game shows, and mostly spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a pool attendant at the YMCA in La Crosse and later volunteered at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.

 

Diane is survived by her husband, David Knutson; son, Michael (Wendy) Schmitz; grandchildren, Natasha, Cassandra, Bradly, Jessica; sisters, Kim (Kevin) Koss, Pam Secrist, Jackie (Paul) Steers; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Forrest Broadhead; and nephew, Forrest Robert  Broadhead.
