Dorothea M. Horschak
Dorothea Mae Horschak age 98, of la crosse passed away on June 21st 2023 in Green Bay Wi. She was born on May 31st 1925 in Milwaukee to Eleanor and Elmer Schultz. She married Oliver Grisen and they divorced; she later married William Horschak Sr.
She was a waitress and bartender all her life and knew many people. She was involved in different organizations throughout her life. They included the tavern league for over 30 years, she also volunteered at the VFW, Eagles and American Red Cross.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Sharon Grisen, Janet Siegert, Eleanor Cassidy. 3 stepsons Bill, Steve and Larry Horschak. 3 grandchildren Samantha Schams, Daisy McGrath, James Siegert and 6 step grandchildren Bill, Amber, Megan, Amy, Angela, Debbie, sister Beverley and special nieces Charlene, Pam, and Karen.
Her hobbies were numerous, but her favorite was Bingo.
She was preceded in death by William Horschak, her sister Laurie, brothers, Melvin and LeRoy, and many wonderful friends.
Family would like to thank the Odd Fellows nursing home in Green Bay for her care.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:00 am at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., with a visitation one hour prior to the service.

I will remember Aunt Dorothy for all the love and care she gave me during my childhood. She was a kind and generous soul and we are blessed to have known her. My deepest condolences to all of her family and friends.
