Elizabeth “Beth” Fillner
Elizabeth (Beth) Ann Fillner age 69, Onalaska, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023 at Bluffview Memory Care in Holmen, WI.
Born October 22, 1953 to Keith and Eileen (Lavold) Potter. She married Richard Fillner, they later divorced.
Beth enjoyed time with her family, she was always up for an adventure. Beth was an avid bowler and worked at Pla-Mor Lanes for years. She adored watching baseball and was a season ticket holder with The La Crosse Loggers for many seasons. Beth had a passion for nature and enjoyed camping and hiking in many state and national park systems. If it had to do with Nature or wolves, it was right up Beth’s alley.
She is survived by her children, Nicholas (Erin) Fillner and their children Sarah and Jaxtin, April (Nick) Wittenberg and their children Shelby and Trinity; brothers, Anthony (Jeanette) Potter, Bruce (Shari) Potter; special friend, David Arneson; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Eileen; brothers, Ronald Potter, Myron Potter; sister, Kristine Terpstra; and niece, Ashley Goyette.
Her memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 29th, 2023 at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska. Pastor Richard Pamperin will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will follow the service until 1:00 p.m. at The Gathering Place.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation Wisconsin Chapter.
I was blessed to have her as my sister. I have so many wonderful memories of her that I will cherish forever. I Love you and will miss you.
