Elizabeth “Betty” (Anderson) Boenigk
Elizabeth “Betty” Ann Boenigk, 76, passed away on October 25, 2013 at Mayo Health System in La Crosse. She was born October 4, 1937 to Walter and Isabelle Anderson in La Crosse.
She graduated from Aquinas High School in 1955. She was housekeeper at St. Francis Hospital for over 15 years. She was especially proud of her family, but enjoyed bingo, animals and casino bus trips.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie (Mike) Galstad, Walter Buchholtz, Todd Buchholtz, Lisa (Boenigk) Urban; grandchildren, Tiffney Galstad, Jeff Galstad, Nicole (Joe) Lepsch, Shannon (Marc) Jandt, Jordan Urban, Hayden Urban; great-grandchildren, Brittany, Kaden, Noah; brother, Steven (Joan) Anderson; sister, Susan “Tooty” Anderson; and many other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death parents.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St., Onalaska, WI. The Rev. Larry Berger will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
