Esther Mae Gilbertson, 83, of La Crosse, WI passed away peacefully on December 20, 2012 at her home. She was born August 18, 1929 to LeRoy and Blanche Schamerhorn. She married Gerald Gilbertson on May 17, 1952 in Duncan, OK.

Esther enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching game show and spending time with grandchildren.

Esther is survived by her son, Steve; daughters, Jill (Jerome), Kathy, Candy (Terry), 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; parents; 2 brothers, Jack, Billy; and son, Jack.

The family would like to thank the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice.

Private services will be held at a later date. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
