Evelyn Janett Smith Finch, age 81, died peacefully on March 27, 2015 at Clare Bridge Care Facility in LaCrosse.

She was born June 10^th, 1933 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Herbert and Hazel Smith. On November 4^th, 1950, Evelyn married the love of her life, Eugene L. Finch. He preceded her in death January 1, 2003. Throughout their life together they enjoyed living in a variety of places, due to Gene being a 20 year veteran in the Air Force. In her early years she worked in the family restaurant in Michigan. After moving to the LaCrosse area, she worked as a tour guide on many trips, along with Gene as the bus driver. Evelyn also found great pleasure in being a housewife, gardening, doing crafts, and painting.

Evelyn is survived by three children, Barb (Don) Drummond of Ravenna, Michigan, Pam (Gene) Hench of Hanover, Pennsylvania, Jim (Tricia) Finch of West Salem, WI; seven grandchildren, Amanda Engweiler, Benjermin Wilburn, Mary (Brendan) Voss, Betsy Hench, Joe (Sami) Hench, Ashley Finch, Zachary Finch; ten great grandchildren, Dakota, Ian, Avery, Gavin, Philip, Mackenna, Eva, Caleb, Conner, Madeline; one sister, Crystal and two brothers, Jim and Bill.

Coulee Region Cremation Group will be assisting the family with a private service and burial to follow at the Onalaska Cemetery.
