Faith Dawn Pederson, 72, of La Crosse passed peacefully joining her Lord and Savior on Sunday April 21, 2013 in her home surrounded by loving family.

Faith was born July 29, 1940, in La Crosse to Ralph L. & Gladys W. (Ward) Triplett. Faith graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 1958. While raising her four boys, which was more than a full-time job, Faith found time to work at Larson’s IGA. As her boys grew older, Faith began her 26 year career in food service with Chartwells serving UW-L, Viterbo College and Aquinas High School. She retired in June 2010.

It was evident from her day to day life, that she was appropriately named for her strong FAITH in God and love for the Lord. She was a very loving and devoted sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. Faith was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in La Crosse. She enjoyed her time with the Busy Bees, Red Hat Ladies and the Breakfast Bunch. She was affectionately known as “Grandma Kitty” and truly cherished the blessing of spending time with her grandchildren.

Faith is survived by her two sons; Kenneth of La Crosse and Eric (Kerry) Pederson of Madison, WI; Daughter-in-law Teresa of La Crosse; Brother Duane (Doris) Triplett of Onalaska, WI; Sister-in-law JoAnn Triplett of La Crosse; Brother-in-law James Running of Minneapolis, MN; “Grandma Kitty” will be dearly missed by her six grandchildren Joseph and Morgan, Kyle and Andy, Sara and Emily as well as several nieces, nephews and their families.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Diane (Triplett) Running; brother Vernon Triplett, sons Michael and Brian Pederson and other dear relatives and friends;

The family would like to thank Mayo Health Systems Cancer Center and Hospice doctors, nurses and staff for their exceptional care and comfort they have provided to Faith and the family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 10:00 am at Bethel Lutheran Church, 1931 Loomis St., La Crosse. Pastor Lisa Shank will officiate. A visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the service at the church. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
