Florian D. Pehowski, 74 of West Salem, WI passed away at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center on May 30th 2015 in La Crosse. Florian (Flo) was born in Milwaukee, WI on March 12th 1941.

Flo worked as a carpenter and was passionate of his work. He would implement his skills in several projects as a hobby. Flo also had a love for the warmth of Florida, residing and working in the Ft. Myers area for several years. The  company of his grandchildren lit his face and brought great joy in his later years.

Flo is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Kristen (Recht) Pehowski, children Lisa (Josh) Riniker, Todd (Erin) Pehowski, Paula (Bobby) Charalambous, David (Linda) Pehowski, 11 grandchildren and many more family members and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents.

The family would like to thank the staff at Gundersen Lutheran for the compassion and honesty in Flo’s final hours, as well as Coulee Region Cremation Group for their compassion and kindness. A private dinner will be held at a later date and his final resting place will be in Florida.
