Franklin Jerome Neitzel, 81 of Ettrick died peacefully in his home on September 5, 2018.

He was born January 31, 1937 to Albert and Mary (Hund) Neitzel. Frank was married to Bettylou Blank, later divorced.  Later he married Roxanne Prokes and later divorced. In his younger years he worked for Joe Greshik Farms in their alpaha plant. He worked for Pertsch Construction doing highway construction. He started Onalaska Mobile Homes with Larry Ryan. Frank then started Neitzel Construction building homes in the Holman area. He moved to Winchester Virginia and started LAX Limited building homes with his son Chris. He enjoyed Hunting on the family farm on Canada Ridge. After Frank retired he moved to Ettrick Wisconsin where he lived until his passing.

Frank is survived by his sons Chris (Julie) Neitzel, Holmen and Evan (Melissa) Neitzel, Hudson. Daughter Shelby (Wayne) Truax, Ettrick, Granddaughter Mila Neitzel.  Brothers Charlie (Donna) Neitzel, Onalaska, Robert (Eunice) Neitzel, Blair, Frederick (Brenda) Neitzel, Cocharane, David (Delores) Neitzel, Fountain City. His sisters Theresa (Al) Mazig , St. Paul and Marylou (Jerome) Sobotta, Fountain City. Sister-in-laws Judy (Beck) Neitzel and Judy (Feuling) Neitzel. Many nieces and Nephews.

Frank was proceeded in death by his parents Albert and Mary Neitzel. Son Patrick Neitzel, brothers Alvin and Jerry Neitzel

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 14, 2018 in the Prairie Room at Coulee Region Cremation Group, 133 Mason St Onalaska, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of the service.  Monsignor Steven Kachel will officiate.  Frank will be laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery in Fountain City.
