I am sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. I was fortunate to have him as the choir director when I was in high school and he was a wonderful choir teacher who made a positive impact on all of his students. He will be greatly missed.

My sincere sympathy to Connie and the rest of the family. I knew him through his nephew Kirk, when they lived on West Fifth Street in Winona. Growing up in the same neighborhood in Winona during the 1950’s I got to know the family and recall both of Kirk’s uncles: Fred and “Corky” and Kirk’s grandparents. Again, sympathy to the family.

I am very sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. While it has been many years since we were all together on East Sarnia, Fred, Jerry Paulson, and myself had great times together playing in all the “old time” bands. He will truly be missed by so many. Connie, my prayers are with you and your family.
