Friend Robert Moe, 87 years old died Thursday January 7, 2016 at Lakeview Health Center, West Salem, WI  with his wife by his side.

He was born November 13, 1928 to Hans and Olga (Volden) Moe in Chaseburg, WI. He married Karen Johnson April 16, 1952.

He worked as a Fleet Mechanic at Dairyland Power.  He served in the Korean War. He loved flying and got his Private Pilots license.  He belonged to the EAA and enjoyed going to Oshkosh for the airshows and going to many Fly-In breakfasts with his fellow Pilot friends.  He also enjoyed fixing up cars and going to carshows. 

He is survived by his wife Karen (Johnson) Moe, 1 son Robert (Mikael) Moe, 1 daughter Della (Dean) Mickelson, 11 grandchildren Heather (John) Storey, Heidi Moe, Hannah Moe, Robert Moe, Jordan Moe, Hailey Moe, Laura (David) Steele, Melissa Mickelson, Kristen Mickelson, Melanie Mickelson and Dean Mickelson, 9 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Rosie Moe, nieces, nephews, cousins, a special cousin Barbara Swertfegger, and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 grandson Hans Moe, 1 brother Maurice Moe, 2 sister-in-laws Judy Euler and Mary Harebo, 1 brother-in-law Butch Johnson, and a special friend, Ken Swertfegger.

Funeral services will be Thursday January 14 at 11:00 at Olivet Lutheran Church, French Island with visitation at 10:00 til time of service. Pastor Luanne Sorenson officiant.  We will have a luncheon following service at American Legion, French Island. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
