Obituary
George C. Keane
George C. Keane was born in Queens, New York on September 16, 1950. At an early age, his parents, William and Katherine (Bannon), along with his four brothers and five sisters, moved to the Kansas City area where his love for the Chiefs began.
George moved to Wisconsin in October 1991 where he found his sweetheart Louann Pierce. They married on July 16, 1994. Together they had two children, Bill (Aislinn) and Megan (Heda), along with five fur grandkids: Connor, Murphy, Winston, Ducky, and Loki.
In honor of George, please wear Chiefs or golf attire to his celebration of life at the Coulee Region Cremation Group Friday, January 12th from 1-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be given to your organization of choice or the Onalaska Care Center

We are so very saddened by this loss. George was such a great, close, dear friend for so long and this was such a shock to those of us who knew and loved him. I’ve never had many close friends, the kind you knew would do anything for you if asked. George was one of those. Our deepest condolences to LouAnn, Bill and Megan. There are no words, but I sincerely pray the memories they made together sustain Louann and their children thru their loss. Embrace them! But, I know nothing can ever take George’s place.

Hugs and prayers to Louann and family. I had the pleasure of working with George years ago. Something I will always remember is the love he had for his family. His face radiated joy when he spoke of them.
Sad to hear of this. George and I shared some good times watching our kids grow up and shared coaching our kids’ peewee football teams for Ona Park and Rec. Such a wise intelligent and nice man. He will be missed. Rest in peace George. Go Chiefs!

Megan, Louann, and Bill,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had fun speaking with George this summer about his growing up in Queens, NY-Howard Beach I think he said, not that very far from where I am from. The snowstorm prevents us from being with you this afternoon, but thinking about George and all of you.
with warm regards,
Rob

Just heard today of the sad news of George’s passing. May he live in the house of the Lord. I worked with George at Army National Bank and Jim went to school with several of George’s sisters. We were all friends. Our condolences and prayers go to Louann, Bill, Megan, and all the Keane sisters and brothers. May all your loving memories of your husband, Dad, and brother live in your hearts forever.
