Gregory G. Sletten

Gregory George Sletten, born November 12th, 1969 in Park Rapids, MN to Rodney and Pearl Sletten. Lived his whole life in Laporte, MN and had recently moved to La Crosse, WI.

Joined his dad in Heaven on Sunday September 18th, 2022 suddenly while playing a game on his computer.

Graduated from Laporte High School in 1988 and from Bemidji University in 1993 with a degree in English.

Survived by his mother, Pearl; brother, Anthony (Ellen) Sletten of Holmen, WI; nephew, SSG. Shane (Nicole) Sletten of San Antonio, TX; niece, Alexandria (Angelina) Sletten of Fairbanks, Alaska; uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends.

Preceded in death by his father, grandparents, four aunts, two uncles, and cousin, Ronnie Seegmiller.

A Celebration of life will be held on October 29th, 2022 at 2:00pm, located at Laporte Community Church in Laporte, MN.

    I was so sad to hear of Greg’s passing. It has been nice to catch up on his life on FB and learn about the cool things he had done and adventures he had traveling and exploring.

      Pearl, my sincerest condolences on your loss. Greg and I shared a lifelong friendship which I will always cherish. I will miss him greatly, but will also fondly remember all of the fun and good times we shared together.
