Gregory Lynn Mueller
Gregory Lynn Mueller, 67, of Holmen, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday October 23, 2023 at Mayo Health System Hospital in Lacrosse, WI after his battle with lung disease. He was born on August 28, 1956 to Clarence and Mabel (Loesel) Mueller. He married Kellie K. Anderson September 5, 1981 in LaCrosse, WI.
He was a 1974 graduate of Holmen High School. After high school he started his career with BNSF Railway, where he retired after 42 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting (deer, turkey, bear and elk), playing cards and time with family, especially around the holidays.
Greg is survived by his three children, Rebecca (Gary) Benrud of Galesville, Elizabeth (Chad Siemianowski) of Bangor and Christopher of Holmen. Two grandchildren Robert and Justin. He is further survived by two brothers Terry (Lola), Brian (Conrad), sister Cheryl Kinstler, sister-in-law Barb Mueller, “brother from another mother” Bill Johnson and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and his dog Teddy.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, wife Kellie, brother Gary, nephew Jeff Mueller, sister-in-laws Delsey Newman and Toni Schoen, brother-in-laws Jeffrey Schoen and John Butterfield, mother-in-law Anna Kroll and father-in-law Glen Anderson.
Special thank you to the ICU and 9th floor staff at Mayo Health System in LaCrosse for the care during his hospital stays.
Memorial donations may be made to Greg’s family to assist with funeral expenses.
To honor Greg’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life and light luncheon on Saturday, November 4th from 1:00-4:00 PM at the Holmen American Legion.

Greg was a super guy. I worked with him on the RR also. My prayers and thoughts are with the family and with terry and lola. I always like to work with Greg and hear about his hunting Trips……

Greg was deserving of a much longer life. I worked with him on the railroad too, and yeah, he was a wonderful man. So sorry he is gone.

So sorry for your loss. Kellie was one of my bridesmaids and Greg was my kidnapper the night of wedding. We had a lot of times together, playing pool, hunting, and just having fun. Going to miss him.. but now he is with Kellie.
Greg was a wonderful person to work with, always so upbeat about everything. He will be sadly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Greg’s family.
