Heather Anne Henry passed away on September 24, 2025, in La Crosse, WI. Born in Mineral Wells, TX on August 29, 1969, Heather lived most of her life in the Midwest. She was a yoga and Reiki instructor and healer with a never-ending curiosity about different cultures and philosophies.

Always active in theatre since she was young, Heather especially loved stage and screen musicals. She was a member of several community theatre groups throughout her life.

She is survived by her mother Penny Henry of Mountain Home, AR, her father Mike Henry and his wife Kristina of Easton, Md, her brother Michael Henry and his wife Sloane of Norfolk, Va, her children Quad, Kannon, and Holly Kilander of Minneapolis, MN and Joie and Xia Diciaula of Hokah, MN as well as numerous family members and friends.

Her signature sign-off of love and laughter exemplifies how she lived. Heather will be remembered for her laugh, her generosity and her caring heart. Everyone she saw was greeted with a warm smile and a big hug, whether she knew them already or had just met them for the first time. Heather was loved and will be missed by many. To honor her memory, please do something kind and helpful for someone.

Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family during this difficult time.

Heather was a dear friend and healer with whom I had the privilege of practicing for nearly 10 years. I fondly remember our Thursday sessions, where she inspired us to embrace the feminine divine and radiate love as a means to heal our broken country and world. You are deeply missed, my dear friend.

Met Heather late in my life through her Mother but feel I’ve known her forever. Her kind and caring soul and positive nature bled through any time I was near her. She was the center of a loving family, and having known her will always be a reason for me to smile. Her presence always had a calming magic peacefulness that still reigns through with my thoughts of you and that smile.

I had the pleasure of growing up with Heather as my cousin/sister all of our childhood years. She was beauty and grace, even then. Her laughter was infectious and her smile radiated her entire face (just like Aunt Penny’s). We spent hours at each others homes, playing Barbie’s, dolls, making up dances, spying on Michael and my brothers, sleepover shenanigans…..
Heather was smart, funny and loving. In all the ways she was gifted and there were many, the role of mom, was her most prized. Her 5 children were her greatest treasures. To be loved by her was a blessed treasure as well. I pray comfort and peace for all her loved ones as you mourn her loss on earth. May you carry her legacy of love and memories with you, until you see her again.
    Love to all ❤️
Rest in the Lord precious Heather.

Though I haven’t seen my sweet cousin Heather in many years, I still remember her so vividly. She had this beautiful mix of warmth, kindness, and grace that drew people to her. Even as a young adult, I remember feeling so connected to her spirit — she had a way of making everyone feel welcome and loved. Her smile could light up a room, and her heart was even brighter. Time and distance may have passed, but I’ve never forgotten the gentle, caring person she was. The world was better with Heather in it, and my heart and prayers are with the family.

    Heather,
Your life was a reflection of your kind and loving heart. Even as a child, your radiant smile and adorable giggle when you laughed, revealed your sweet spirit. You were a blessing full of love and goodness.
Now, you have returned to the source of all love, Almighty God.

    My dearest Heather,

You have touched my heart. When Marci was in the hospital you reached out to me with your comforting words in your card. When Marci passed away you called me and it meant the world to me. I will always treasure you.

    Your cousin,

    Tim

We were absolutely shocked at Heathers passing. Our hearts are broken. We live right next door to Heather. We observed her beautiful family growing. She was so proud of her family. Her eyes would sparkle when she talked of them. We were friends but really never interacted. We knew of Heathers fight with cancer. Her fight was long and hard. She was a champion of grace and bravery. We prayed for her and her family knowing that this time would come. The shock for us, came with only finding out of her passing on October 9th. The grief we feel of not knowing she was sick and in the hospital again or that she had passed on Sept. 24th, two full weeks ago, is horrible. Regrets in life never go away. We will never forget Heather. Without a doubt the kindest, most loving, soft spoken, friendly person we have ever known. We would always look in the direction of her home feeling lucky to have her and family as neighbors. She has left behind an amazing family. She has set a hard example for other to follow. She will remain in our memories and challenge us to become like her. Our prays remain for her family and friends to go on. Remembering Heather when the wind blows, the sky is blue, the air is crisp and fresh.

The many tributes left to Heather come as no surprise. I too remember that beautiful smile and happy outlook when she was a teenager. Heather seemed to make people happy merely with her presence. We are heartbroken that she is gone so early.

I have known Heather since high school. We have had a lot of nicknames and terms of affections for each other over the years but one we always went back to was soul sister. She is like no other friend I have ever had…we just seemed to understand each other on another level. She was funny, kind, smart, a great cook, made the best cup of coffee I have ever had in my life, an infectious laugh, healer and much more. I will carry her with me forever. Sending love to all her knew her.
