Homer Parker, Jr.

Homer Parker Jr., 92 of Holmen/Onalaska Wisconsin and formerly Flemington, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Saturday, April 12th, 2025

He was born on January 18, 1933, to Homer Sr. and Donnie Parker (Swindell). He married Jeanette Bateman on August 21, 1957, in La Crosse.

Homer enjoyed spending time with his family and friends; he also enjoyed fishing, boating and camping every chance he got. Homer was also a wonderful handy man. Homer owned and operated a local gas station (Superior 400) for many years before retiring from Torrance Casting after 29 years of service.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Iris) Parker, Dean Parker; daughter, Brenda (Robert) Riggall; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Jeanette Parker (Bateman), his parents, Homer Parker Sr. and Donnie Swindell; sons, Arnold Hartika and Steven A Parker and his beloved dog Beethoven. He is also preceded in death by his brother Frank, his sisters Earldine, Katie Mae, Avis and Helen.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th from 1:00 PM-3:00PM at Coulee Region Cremation Group located on 133 Mason Street Onalaska, Wisconsin 54650.
