Janice Marie Denny, 74, of La Crosse, died peacefully at home with her family on Friday, February, 24, 2012.

She was born February 18, 1938, to John and Selma (Price) Smith. Janice married Howard Denny on June 20, 1958, in Abingdon, Virginia.

Janice enjoyed arts and crafts, especially needlework, quilting, drawing, painting, and spending time with family.

Janice is survived by her husband; daughter, Apryl Denny; granddaughter, Julia Ferris; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Johnny.

Her family would like to thank the care providers of Mayo Clinic Health System Hospice for all their help and support.
