Jared Lee Nelson
Jared Lee Nelson found peace July 26th, 2021. Son of Kevin and Nancy and father to Makenzie and Elijah, Jared graduated from Holmen High School in 1997 and later graduated from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay. For the past 17 years Jared worked at Peerless Chain in Winona where he made coworkers into friends and met his fiance, Jana.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Allyn and Arlene Thompson and will be missed by his surviving grandparents, Helen & Neil, his sister, Erin and many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Visitation will take place at The Gathering Place, 133 Mason St., Onalaska, on Saturday, August 7th at 1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 3:30pm. Pastor Matt Toso will officiate services.
Memorials may be given to the family who will in turn be donating them to Makenzie and Elijah’s Education Fund and other charitable organizations.

I’m at a loss.. my heart goes out to his children. I remember cruising around in his thunderbird! I met Jared many many years ago thru his daughters mother. You will be missed Nelly!
Will miss seeing at champions…always friendly and good friend n always so helpful and always laughing at u playing bingo with our group of friends..fly high and watch us all…rip my friend…
