Jerome Allen Hellickson, 66, of Caledonia, passed away October 23, 2013 in his home. He was born on November 16, 1946 to Donald and Elsie (Hatling) Hellickson. He married Terri Barr May 18, 1985 at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church in Winona.

Jerome enjoyed spending time with his children, baseball, college basketball, his cats, and his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Terri; daughter, Michelle Zepf of Newberg, OR, Diana of New Orleans, LA, and son, Donald of Cedar Rapids, IA; siblings, Harold (Judy) Hellickson of Hendersonville, NC, Wanda (Bernie) Pieper of Caledonia, Ancy Hellickson of Caledonia, Erma (Don Mackenzie) Hellickson of Rushford; mother, Elsie of Caledonia; 3 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, Donald; brothers, Victor and Howard; and father-in-law, Wayne Barr.

The family would like to thank Mayo Clinic Health System Home Hospice, Dr. Cochran and staff of the Caledonia Clinic, ICU 7th Floor staff.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 650 N. Kingston St., Caledonia. Pastor Jon Wolff will officiate. Visitations will be held on Monday, October 28th from 4 – 7 PM and also one hour prior to the service both at the church. Coulee Region Cremation Group is assisting the family.
