Josephine H. Culek (Szymczak) 82 of Holmen, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024 with her family at her side. She was born October 7, 1941 to Joseph and Sophie (Pluta) Szymczak in Chicago Illinois. Josephine graduated from Holy Name Cathedral High School in 1959.

On May 4, 1963 she was married to William T. Culek. Josephine and William resided in the Chicago area before moving to Soldiers Grove WI, and finally retiring in Holmen WI.

Josephine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching wildlife and traveling.

Josephine is survived by her husband William; sons William (Linda) of New London, WI and Joe (Lisa) of Columbus, WI; her grandchildren Skylar, Samara, and Lily, her sister Mary Ann (Alfonse) Mangano. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Thomas.

A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.
